Abstract:Sister chromatid differentiation(SCD)is a chromosome processing technology developed in the mid 70s. The technology can be used to study a series of important theoretical issues,such as, the cell cycle, semiconservative replication,the molecular structure and aberrations of chromosome, as well as DNA replication, damage and repair.Besides,SCD can also be used for the analysis of sister chromatic exchange frequency.SCE is able to detect the change frequency of chromosome,and present a dose-response relationship,therefor,SEC is regard as one of the conventional indicators of detection of mutations
